Schools
Living near a school does not guarantee a place. For Shere, school applications go through Surrey County Council, the education authority (not Guildford council). Admission rules can differ from school to school — for example at academies and some faith schools — so read the published arrangements for every school that matters to you, and check Ofsted reports, before choosing a street.
